Gamesa sells its company Wind to Market S.A. to CIMD, S.A., the holding
company of the group containing InterMoney Energía S.A, an independent
company specialising in representing installations and in intermediation
in the energy markets.
The CIMD Group, Corretaje e Información Monetaria y de Divisas,
S.A., owner of InterMoney Energía, S.A., has finalised the acquisition
of Gamesa's activities representing wind installations in the Spanish
electricity market, which it carried out through its company, Wind to
Market.
The transaction guarantees the customers and investors in wind energy
the existence of an independent agent, dedicated to act exclusively
on behalf of third parties and with proven intermediation experience
in different physical and financial markets.
InterMoney Energía S.A. is the CIMD Group company specialising
in the Spanish and international energy derivatives markets. It offers
advisory services and analysis of the energy markets as well as acting
as representing agent for electricity production installations. With
this transaction it increases its wind installations portfolio, thus
strengthening its leadership.
Wind to Market, S.A. has successfully operated in the electricity market
for more than two years and has a commercial portfolio greater than
1100 MW from wind power, now to be combined with the MW of the InterMoney
Energía, S.A. portfolio, thus forming a solid group that guarantees
services in the conditions that the market demands.
