InterMoney Variable Euro F.I.
Fund Description
The Fund called INTERMONEY VARIABLE EURO F.I., has a time horizon in the short and medium term, whose investment aims will be those of a euro Fixed Income Fund, with more than 75% of the portfolio in Equity assets and without the investment in national equity being allowed to exceed 75% of the portfolio.
The Fund intends to include derivatives in its portfolio and will not invest in assets that do not have the euro as the currency.
INTERMONEY VARIABLE EURO F.I. is especially suitable for shareholders with a profile for risk, investors willing to assume a high investment inherent risk arising from the possible fluctuations in the evolution both of equity and interest rates. The minimum recommended duration of investment in the fund is of one year.
The difference of this fund with other equity funds lies in the fact that our objective is not exclusively to follow and beat a benchmark, such as the IBEX or the EuroStoxx, but to try to take advantage of our knowledge of the market in order to generate value for the client.
In this way, although 75% has to be invested compulsorily in Equity, our fund has the authorisation to use derivatives in order to hedge against scenarios in which we forecast falls in the stock exchange.
In addition, of the 75% invested in Equity, only 1/3 follows a benchmark, another third tries to make a return for the fund through short term transactions, and a third invests in securities which we believe will produce good returns in the medium term.
