InterMoney Valuation and Risks

Business line started in 1996 with the development and implementation of a methodology for the valuation of traded securities in the AIAF (Association of Financial Assets Intermediaries) market. Since 1998, when this methodology was approved by the Bank of Spain (and later ratified by the ECB in 2000), InterMoney values the AIAF instruments daily. The resulting prices are used by the ECB for the valuation of the collateral in the monetary regulation auctions.

Since that first project, InterMoney boosted this field of action, anticipating the growing need that financial and non-financial institutions would have in the application of complex mathematical, statistical and financial techniques to provide solutions in the area of valuation and risk mediation, management and control.

Currently InterMoney is the leader in independent valuation and risk management services. With more than 5,000 securities valued daily, we contribute significantly to the transparency in the price formation mechanism. We have more than 50 clients among whom there are banks, savings banks, investment fund management companies, insurance companies, non-financial companies, auditors, fund managers and supervisory bodies.
