The
Solidarity Day (in the first week of December) is the
CIMD Group's most important act of solidarity. It is created as an on-going act and consists in giving ALL the commissions generated that day, both in CIMD, A.V. and InterMoney Valores, S.V., to a group of NGOs selected by the Group's Board in January of the following year.

In 2005, its first year, the contribution was of 120,000 euros and the money was given to five NGOs working with children.

Furthermore, in the
CIMD Group there are other actions related with this activity that range from the Agreement with the
Loyalty Foundation to "solidarity" information that is regularly put on the Group's intranet, and that informs the staff about voluntary activities in the Madrid Community, as well as news related to NGOs that have contacted the Communication department.
Corporate Social Responsibility

All the people that belong to the
CIMD Group are characterised by a strong social commitment and a desire to work to help the most underprivileged people.

The
CIMD Group understands CSR as a set of positive contributions that are made to underprivileged sectors and constitutes a commitment to the development of our society.

This commitment with the most underprivileged people is seen as something active, coherent and involved with the Group's business activity, with strong ethical principles, an effort to innovate and a constant will to work of all the people that form CIMD. CRS is aimed at responding to a need in society and is included in the
CIMD Group's corporate principles. It means a basic and differentiating element of the social perspective within financial companies.
